Does PRIN 6 apply to my B2B-only fintech that only services authorised firms?
The Rulebook
Yes — but with nuance. PRIN 6 ("A firm must pay due regard to the interests of its customers and treat them fairly") applies, but "customer" under PRIN includes other authorised firms acting as your clients (PRIN 3.1.1R). The Consumer Duty (PRIN 2A) is the one you can probably scope out — it only applies to retail customers.

Relevant: PRIN 3.1.1R · PRIN 2A.1.1R · FG22/5 §1.18

Every answer is cited

Source paragraph, module, rule reference. If we can't cite it, we won't say it. Defensible by design.

iii.

Speaks plain English

Ask the question your business owner asked you. Get the rulebook answer they'll actually understand.

iv.

Zero IT install

Lives inside Claude, Copilot, Cursor. If your firm allows those, it allows us. No new procurement.

v.

Bulletin tracking

Get alerted when something material lands. Filter by module, by topic, or by your firm's business model.

vi.

Export with citations

One click: paste an answer into a memo, a board pack, or a regulator response — with the source clauses inline.

Frequently asked.

Do I need to install anything?

No. The Rulebook is an MCP server — your existing AI client (Claude, Copilot, Cursor) connects to it with a one-line config. Nothing lands on your laptop. Nothing for your IT team to approve. If your firm already allows your AI tool, you're done.

Where does the data come from?

Direct from the FCA — the Handbook, bulletins, Dear CEO letters, policy statements, and consultation papers. We use the FCA's own data feeds (which became publicly accessible mid-2026). We add nothing the FCA hasn't published.

Can I trust the answers?

Every answer cites the source paragraph. If we can't cite it, we won't generate it. The AI summarises; the handbook is the law. Always click through and read the source for anything material.

Is my firm's information stored?

On Free: no firm data is stored. On Pro: only the firm context you explicitly add (your permissions, business model, prior queries). All UK-resident, encrypted at rest, deletable on demand.

Does this replace my compliance officer?

No. It replaces the 20 minutes they spend hunting through 17 handbook modules to confirm one rule. The judgement call is still theirs.

What about PRA, ESMA, or SEC?

The Rulebook is FCA-only. Other regulators are on the roadmap but not promised. We'd rather be excellent at one thing first.
